The body of Christ in Wakefield believes God is refining our fire so we may share our light and save the lost to be one in Christ. Every plan, program, activity and class connects us to that central mission. In essentials we have unity:
“There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all”
(Ephesians 4:4-6).
In non-essentials we have liberty: ” Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters…stop passing judgment on one another…each of us will give an account of himself to God… so whatever you believe about these things [non-essentials] keep between yourself and God” (Romans 14:1, 12, 22).
In all things we have love:
”…If I have faith to move mountains but have no love, I amount to nothing at all…” (1 Corinthians 13:1)  “By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35).

Our worship is a time to come before the throne of God. We usually have prayers, singing, a reading, some preaching, a time to give and the coming to the Lord’s Table (communion). It has been said that our worship assembly “is celebratory and always enthusiastic.”
We enjoy coming together to worship our LORD!
